Ian Pierce was an accountant from birth. After qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1986, he gleaned extensive local and global experience at Coopers & Lybrand and Deloitte & Touche. He set up a practice in South Africa in 1991 and today specialises in company restructuring and privatisation, audits, due diligence reviews, transactions and widespread corporate consulting.
Hazel Chingore joined RAiN in 2012 and has been in the audit industry for over seven years. She has experience in both public and private sector assurance engagement along with experience in performing due diligence reviews and other consulting work.
Patience Madziwa completed her Honours in Accounting at Rhodes University in 2014, and then joined RAiN as a South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) Clerk in 2015. Since then she has risen through the ranks from Junior Audit Clerk to Assistant Audit Manager. She has experience in both the public and private sector, specialising in consulting assignments.
Vimbainashe Munyuki joined RAiN in 2019, bringing with her experience of over 10 years gained from both public and private sectors assurance. Her experience include internal audit, external audit and consulting work.
As one of the longest-serving members of staff, Nathalie has taken on the function of talent acquisition. Because of her years of association with the firm and her understanding of the changes that have occurred in the profession, her recruitment philosophy has created the unique RAiN culture that really sets us apart. Many companies will use the cliche, "our people are our greatest asset." Nathalie lives that.
Liezl Laughton qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2017, having completed her SAICA articles in both the audit and tax electives. She joined RAiN Chartered Accountants in 2019 and specialises in corporate and individual tax. She is passionate about continuous and holistic development and training and is studying toward a Post Graduate Diploma in Education to develop that passion
